Cattewater Harbour Commissioners

Partner skills
CHC is the navigation and conservancy authority for the Cattewater Harbour, providing series of harbour facilities for both commercial vessels and leisure craft moorings. It is also the authority for the Port of Plymouth. Thus, it has substantial expertise in operating and managing a port.

Transnational experience
Among others, CHC has contributed to the development of guidelines for Special Areas of Conservation in the framework of the UK Marine SACs Project (European Commission’s LIFE Programme).

Role in the project
CHC will be an associate partner that will contribute with advisory from the perspective of a commercial port, giving also access to data and information about the port and its facilities.
