OpenLab – IHCantabria
Last Saturday (March 25th 2023), as a part of WP2-Action 5 of PORTOS Project extension, IHCantabria has organized an additional Openlab. This event was included within the Pequeingeniería Project program, to which 20 students and 12 adults attended to. Within this event, the objectives, methodologies and outcomes of the PORTOS Project were presented to the attendees in order to raise awareness regarding the need of energy self-sufficiency in ports, the types of existing marine resources and the way to harvest energy from them.
Besides, an additional activity was organized for the students, in which they were able to construct their own breakwaters and test them inside the IH mini wave-basin.
